SHRI DURGA SHIKSHA NIKETAN INTER COLLEGE

            In  the  process  Shri  Jagjeevan  Prasad -  Manager  and

Smt.  Raj  Kumari  ji-  Treasurer  laid  the foundation stone of  the

vidyalaya   “ SHRI   DURGA   SHIKSHA   NIKETAN   INTER

COLLEGE,    DEVRI    RUKHARA,    BAKSHI   KA   TALAB,

LUCKNOW”   on 26^th   Feb.  2005.   The  building  construction 

started wef. The construction work started by  leaps  and  bounds.

The  inaugural ceremony was conducted  on  06^th  MAY 2005  by 

Shri  Akhilesh Yadav ji,  a Member of Parliament. The fund for the

vidyalaya was collected via donation media.  The  building  of  the

present vidyalaya was almost completed by the end of JUNE 2005

and  the  vidyalaya  started  functioning  Wef.  01  July  2005.  Mr.

Chandra  Pratap  Singh,  an Ex. Army Lieutenant was appointed as

Principal,  15  well  experienced  and  educated  teachers and other

staff  members were appointed.  This  Samiti had various  frequent

meeting for the improvement of the plan. During the session 2005-2006 about 1150 students from NUR. To Class 12 were admitted for the facilities Art, Science and Commerce.

            The Samiti approached for the recommendation of the Vidyalaya through the proper channel to the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Kshetriya Karyalaya, Allahabad. The board of authority found that the vidyalaya fulfilled all the requirements and the board finally recommended the vidyalaya vide their letters No. Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad/Manyata/E-953 dated 06^th JULY 2005 up to the class X. the Samiti went on requesting for the recommendation up to the class XII and the board accepted the requests of the Samiti vide their letter No. IB Manyata/965 dated 06^th JULY 2006 for all the subjects in one time.

            The Vidyalaya Samiti again requested the board, Allahabad for the examination center. The board, Allahabad sanctioned the request and the vidyalaya conducted its first board examination in the year 2006. The vidyalaya conducted the 2006 examination in a proper manners. No examinee was permitted to use unfair means. No such cases were found in the visits of flying squad detailed bi DIOS and hence vidyalaya is continuously the board examination till the date. The fair and free examination during last three examinations has given the good future to the institution.
